What functions does ConfSite provide?

ConfSite provides a wide range of functions to manage conferences or events completely through Web interface. These functions are briefly described as follows:

  • Sign Up
  • Create an account to use the system.

  • My Account
  • The following functions are available for anyone who have an account with ConfSite.
    1. Add/Edit Presentation
      • Create, edit, and submit different types of presentations (e.g., a group presentation, such as Symposium, may contain multiple papers)'
      • Upload document
      • Create, edit author information
      • Adjust author order
      • Track submitted presentations
    2. Change User Password
    3. Update User Profile
  • Admin
  • The following functions are a available to those who are appointed as administrators.

    1. Content Mgmt
      • Customize conference configuration, such submission deadline, begin and end date, contact person, copyright notice etc.
      • Customize presentation types
      • Customize review panel
      • Assign panel reviewers
      • Customize conference rooms
      • Customize conference schedule
    2. Schedule
      • Create conference schedule (i.e. Time frame)
      • Assign presentation and room to conference schedule
      • Display schedule with Presentation Id
      • Assign Moderator and Discussant for a presentation
      • Generate Program Id
      • Display Schedule with Program Id
      • Display Author Index
    3. E-mail
      • View and download pre-defined email list for different user groups, such as authors, reviewers and primary contacts.
      • Send emails online with user customized templates (available soon)

    4. Search
      • Browe User
        • Browse and search (keyword and id only) users
        • View user information
        • Assign user group (such as administrator, reviewer)
        • Delete a user
        • Reset user password
      • Advanced User Search
        • Search user by id, name, login Id, Activation, User Group etc.
      • Advanced Presentation Search
        • Search presentation by title, author, presentation type, review panel, review status, etc.
        • Display presetation in different format
        • Change presentation type (e.g., from Symposium to Poster, where each paper under the Symposium will become a poster.)
  • Review
  • The following functions are a available to those who are appointed as reviewers.

    • Report the number of reviewed and not reviewed presentation in each panel to reviewed
    • View or download the detail information of submitted presentations
    • View existing reviews (chief reviewer only)
    • Submit review with comments
  • Report
  • The following functions are a available to those who are appointed as administrators.

    1. Statistics
      • Report presentations by status (Incomplete, Submitted, Reviewed, etc.)
      • Report presentations by Day, Month, Type, or Panel
      • Report presentations by review status (Accepted, Rejected, etc.)
    2. Publications
      • Submitted Presentation by Id
      • Submitted Presentation by Type
      • Submitted Presentation by Review Status
      • Accepted Presentation by Program Id
      • Accepted Presentation by Type and Program Id
      • Schedule with Program Id
      • Author Index
      • Review panels and reviewers
